وجاءت ثلاثية النصر بتوقيع كريستيانو رونالدو، ومحمد سيماكان، وكينغسلي كومان من ركلة جزاء، في الدقائق 47 و53 و87، ليرفع «العالمي» رصيده إلى 43 نقطة في المركز الثاني بجدول الترتيب، متأخراً بثلاث نقاط عن الهلال المتصدر.

ورفع رونالدو رصيده التهديفي خلال مسيرته الكروية إلى 961 هدفاً، ليبقى على بُعد 39 هدفاً فقط من الوصول إلى 1000 هدف، وهو إنجاز لم يصل إليه أي لاعب في تاريخ كرة القدم.
