ونفى مراد تلك الأنباء جملةً وتفصيلاً، مؤكداً في تصريح خاص إلى «عكاظ»: «غير صحيح أن محمد صلاح أو محمد الشناوي أبلغا اللاعبين باعتزالهما اللعب دولياً».
مصر «الأكثر تتويجاً»
ويُعد منتخب مصر الأكثر تتويجاً بلقب كأس الأمم الأفريقية برصيد 7 ألقاب، كان آخرها عام 2010 تحت قيادة المدير الفني السابق حسن شحاتة، فيما يتواصل انتظار الجماهير لتحقيق اللقب الثامن.
