أثارت لقطات مصوّرة جرى تداولها على نطاق واسع عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي موجة غضب عارمة في الشارع المصري، بعدما أظهرت امرأة تعتدي بعنف مفرط على امرأة مسنّة باستخدام عصا خشبية، في مشهد وُصف بأنه «قاسٍ وصادم» ويجرد فاعلته من أبسط معاني الرحمة.
وبتحرك عاجل، نجحت أجهزة وزارة الداخلية المصرية في كشف ملابسات الواقعة، رغم عدم تلقي أي بلاغ رسمي بشأنها، إذ قادت التحريات إلى تحديد هوية الطرفين الظاهرين في المقطع، وتبيّن أنهما أم مسنّة وابنتها، وتقيمان بدائرة مركز شرطة الزقازيق بمحافظة الشرقية المصرية.
وعقب تقنين الإجراءات، ألقت قوات الأمن القبض على الابنة المتهمة، وضُبطت بحوزتها العصا المستخدمة في الاعتداء، وبمواجهتها أمام جهات التحقيق، أدلت باعترافات صادمة كشفت عن دافع لا يقل قسوة عن المشهد نفسه.
وقالت المتهمة إن اعتداءها جاء بدافع منع والدتها من الجلوس المتكرر أمام المنزل، مؤكدة أنها استخدمت الضرب لإجبارها على الدخول، في تبرير أثار موجة استنكار واسعة لما يحمله من قسوة وتجرد من مشاعر البر والإنسانية.
وتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة حيال الواقعة، وتحرير المحضر اللازم، فيما أُخطرت النيابة العامة لمباشرة التحقيق، وسط مطالبات رقمية بتوقيع أقصى العقوبات الرادعة على كل من يثبت تورطه في إيذاء كبار السن، في جرائم تهز القيم الإنسانية قبل أن تخالف القانون.
Footage that has been widely circulated on social media has sparked a wave of outrage in the Egyptian street, after it showed a woman violently attacking an elderly woman with a wooden stick, in a scene described as “cruel and shocking,” stripping the perpetrator of the simplest meanings of mercy.
In a swift response, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior’s agencies succeeded in uncovering the circumstances of the incident, despite not receiving any official report about it. The investigations led to identifying the two parties visible in the clip, revealing that they are a mother and her daughter, residing in the jurisdiction of the Zagazig Police Station in the Sharqia Governorate of Egypt.
After legal procedures were taken, security forces arrested the accused daughter, and the stick used in the assault was seized from her. When confronted by investigators, she made shocking confessions that revealed a motive no less cruel than the scene itself.
The accused stated that her attack was motivated by her desire to prevent her mother from repeatedly sitting in front of the house, asserting that she used physical force to compel her to go inside, a justification that sparked widespread condemnation for its cruelty and lack of compassion and humanity.
Legal actions were taken regarding the incident, and the necessary report was filed, while the public prosecution was notified to initiate an investigation, amid digital calls for the maximum punitive measures to be imposed on anyone proven to be involved in harming the elderly, in crimes that shake human values before violating the law.
