أصدرت إدارة نادي الحزم بياناً إعلامياً عبّرت فيه عن استيائها من قرار نقل مباراة الفريق أمام القادسية، ضمن منافسات الدور الأول من الدوري، إلى مدينة بريدة، رغم اعتماد نادي الحزم مستضيفاً رسمياً للمواجهة، مؤكدة تمسكها بحقها الأصيل في إقامة المباراة على ملعبها.
وأكدت إدارة الحزم في مستهل بيانها أن ما تشهده الرياضة السعودية من دعم واهتمام غير مسبوق من القيادة الرشيدة أسهم في تعزيز مكانة دوري روشن السعودي إقليمياً وعالمياً، مشددة على حرص النادي الدائم على أن يكون عنصراً فاعلاً في نجاح المنظومة الرياضية الوطنية، بما ينسجم مع تطلعات القيادة الرياضية ورؤية المملكة.
وأوضحت الإدارة أن جميع ملاعب مدن ومحافظات الوطن تمثل أرضاً للأندية، إلا أن ذلك لا ينفي الأهمية الفنية والجماهيرية للمباريات التي تُقام على الملعب الرسمي للنادي، لما توفره من أفضلية تنافسية مشروعة واستقرار فني وتفاعل جماهيري يُعد من أبرز عوامل التفوق داخل الملعب.
وأعربت إدارة الحزم عن قلقها واستيائها من حرمان الفريق من أحد حقوقه الأساسية، والمتمثل في خوض مبارياته على أرضه ووسط جماهيره، مشيرة إلى أن جدولة مباريات الدور الأول جاءت مجحفة لآمال جماهير النادي ومحبيه في محافظة الرس، حيث لم يُتح للفريق سوى خوض ثلاث مباريات فقط على ملعبه أمام أندية الفتح ونيوم والنجمة، بينما نُقلت بقية المباريات إلى استاد مدينة الملك عبدالله ببريدة، الأمر الذي أفقد النادي أفضلية اللعب على أرضه، وأثقل كاهله بأعباء مالية وتنظيمية إضافية.
وبيّنت الإدارة أنه، ورغم التزام النادي بالصمت خلال الفترة الماضية تغليباً للمصلحة العامة، فإن إخطارها بإقامة مباراة الحزم أمام القادسية بتاريخ 18 يناير 2026 في مدينة بريدة، رغم اعتماد القادسية مستضيفاً رسمياً، أثار دهشتها واستغرابها، لا سيما في ظل الواقع الجماهيري وعدم وجود ما يبرر نقل المباراة بدعوى الطاقة الاستيعابية، مع تأكيدها على قدرة ملعب الحزم على استضافة اللقاء.
وشددت إدارة الحزم على أن نقل مثل هذه المباريات لا يخدم عدالة المنافسة، بل يتعارض مع أهداف وتطلعات القيادة الرياضية الرامية إلى تعزيز شعبية كرة القدم ونشر ثقافتها في مختلف مدن ومحافظات المملكة.
وفي سياق متصل، استشهدت الإدارة بقرار الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم بإقامة مباراة نصف نهائي كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين بين ناديي الخلود والاتحاد على ملعب نادي الحزم، معتبرة ذلك نموذجاً يُحتذى في تمكين المدن والمحافظات من استضافة المباريات الكبرى، ودعم الحراك الرياضي المحلي.
واختتمت إدارة نادي الحزم بيانها بالتأكيد على تمسكها بحقها النظامي في إقامة مباراة القادسية على ملعب النادي، حرصاً على حفظ حقوق النادي وجماهيره، وترسيخاً لمبادئ العدالة والمساواة بين الأندية، مع تأكيد الجاهزية الكاملة لملعب الحزم من الجوانب التنظيمية والفنية والأمنية لاستضافة المباراة على أكمل وجه.
The Al-Hazm Club management issued a press statement expressing its dissatisfaction with the decision to move the team’s match against Al-Qadisiyah, in the first round of the league, to the city of Buraidah, despite Al-Hazm being officially designated as the host for the match. They affirmed their commitment to their rightful claim to hold the match at their home stadium.
The Al-Hazm management emphasized at the beginning of their statement that the unprecedented support and attention that Saudi sports are receiving from the wise leadership has contributed to enhancing the status of the Roshan Saudi League regionally and globally. They stressed the club’s ongoing commitment to being an active participant in the success of the national sports system, in line with the aspirations of the sports leadership and the Kingdom’s vision.
The management clarified that all stadiums in the cities and provinces of the nation represent grounds for the clubs; however, this does not negate the technical and fan importance of matches held at the club’s official stadium, as it provides a legitimate competitive advantage, technical stability, and fan interaction, which are among the key factors for success on the field.
The Al-Hazm management expressed its concern and dissatisfaction over depriving the team of one of its fundamental rights, which is to play its matches at home and among its fans. They pointed out that the scheduling of the first-round matches has been unjust to the hopes of the club’s fans and supporters in Al-Rass, as the team has only been allowed to play three matches at home against Al-Fateh, Neom, and Al-Najma, while the rest of the matches were moved to King Abdullah Stadium in Buraidah. This has deprived the club of the advantage of playing at home and has burdened it with additional financial and organizational burdens.
The management indicated that, despite the club’s commitment to silence during the past period in favor of the public interest, the notification of holding the Al-Hazm match against Al-Qadisiyah on January 18, 2026, in Buraidah, despite Al-Qadisiyah being officially designated as the host, surprised and puzzled them, especially in light of the fan reality and the absence of justification for moving the match under the pretext of capacity, while affirming the ability of Al-Hazm Stadium to host the match.
The Al-Hazm management stressed that moving such matches does not serve the fairness of competition but rather contradicts the goals and aspirations of the sports leadership aimed at enhancing the popularity of football and spreading its culture in various cities and provinces of the Kingdom.
In this context, the management cited the Saudi Football Federation’s decision to hold the semi-final match of the King’s Cup between Al-Khulood and Al-Ittihad at Al-Hazm Stadium, considering it a model to be emulated in empowering cities and provinces to host major matches and supporting local sports activity.
The Al-Hazm Club management concluded their statement by reaffirming their commitment to their legal right to hold the match against Al-Qadisiyah at the club’s stadium, in order to preserve the rights of the club and its fans, and to establish the principles of fairness and equality among clubs, while confirming the full readiness of Al-Hazm Stadium in terms of organizational, technical, and security aspects to host the match in the best possible manner.
