رفع مدير عام مركز اليونسكو الإقليمي للجودة والتميّز في التعليم الدكتور عبدالرحمن المديرس، الشكر والتقدير للقيادة بمناسبة صدور قرار مجلس الوزراء بالموافقة على مشروع اتفاقية مقر بين حكومة المملكة العربية السعودية والمركز الإقليمي للجودة والتميّز في التعليم، عادًا إياها خطوةً ساميةً تجسّد ما توليه القيادة من عنايةٍ فائقة ودعمٍ موصول لقطاع التعليم، وتعزيز جودة مخرجاته، ومؤكدا أن القرار يعكس ما تحظى به المراكز الإقليمية والدولية المتخصصة من رعايةٍ كريمة واهتمامٍ مباشر من القيادة. وأبان أن الموافقة تمثل دعمًا إستراتيجيًا بالغ الأثر لمسيرة المركز، وتجسّد رسالة التعليم وجودته، وتشكل حافزًا قويًا لمضاعفة الجهود وتعظيم الأثر في خدمة القضايا التعليمية والتنموية على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي، ومواصلة العمل بروح المسؤولية والشراكة، والإسهام الفاعل في الارتقاء بجودة التعليم وتعزيز سياسات التميّز، بما يعكس الصورة المشرّفة للمملكة ودورها الريادي على الساحة العالمية.
من جهتها، أكدت المدير العام المساعد للمركز الدكتورة فاطمة رويس أن الرعاية التي حظي بها المركز منذ بداية نشأته عام 2014 كبيت خبرة وحيد من نوعه على مستوى العالم في مجال الجودة والتميز وأحد الكيانات التابعة لمنظمة اليونسكو يعكس إيمان القيادة العميق بدور المعرفة والتعليم بوصفهما ركيزةً للتنمية المستدامة وصناعة المستقبل.
وأشارت إلى أن اعتماد اتفاقية المقر يمثّل مظلة دعمٍ مؤسسي راسخة، تمنح المركز استقرارًا وثقةً ومساحةً أوسع لتعظيم الأثر، وتمكين المبادرات النوعية، والاضطلاع بمسؤولياته الإقليمية والدولية، بما يواكب تطلعات المملكة ويجسّد رؤيتها الطموحة في الريادة التعليمية والمعرفية عالميًا.
The Director-General of the UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mudayris, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership on the occasion of the Cabinet’s decision to approve the draft headquarters agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education. He considered it a noble step that embodies the great care and continuous support the leadership provides to the education sector, enhancing the quality of its outputs. He affirmed that the decision reflects the generous care and direct interest that specialized regional and international centers receive from the leadership. He explained that the approval represents a strategically significant support for the center’s journey, embodies the message of education and its quality, and forms a strong incentive to multiply efforts and maximize impact in serving educational and developmental issues at both regional and international levels, continuing to work with a spirit of responsibility and partnership, and actively contributing to the elevation of education quality and the enhancement of excellence policies, reflecting the honorable image of the Kingdom and its pioneering role on the global stage.
For her part, the Assistant Director-General of the center, Dr. Fatima Ruiz, confirmed that the support the center has received since its establishment in 2014 as a unique center of expertise in the field of quality and excellence and one of the entities affiliated with UNESCO reflects the leadership’s deep belief in the role of knowledge and education as a cornerstone for sustainable development and shaping the future.
She pointed out that the adoption of the headquarters agreement represents a solid institutional support framework, granting the center stability, confidence, and a broader space to maximize impact, enable quality initiatives, and fulfill its regional and international responsibilities, in line with the Kingdom’s aspirations and embodying its ambitious vision in educational and knowledge leadership globally.
