أطلق التحالف الإسلامي العسكري لمحاربة الإرهاب في بنجول المرحلة الثانية من مبادرة «كفاءة»، المخصصة لتدريب قوات محاربة الإرهاب على إبطال الألغام والعبوات الناسفة. حضر التدشين رئيس أركان الدفاع الغامبي والأمين العام للتحالف اللواء طيار ركن محمد المغيدي وعدد من القيادات العسكرية.
تهدف المبادرة إلى تعزيز قدرات الدول الأعضاء في المجالات الفكرية والإعلامية والمالية والعسكرية، وبناء كفاءات احترافية قادرة على مواجهة التهديدات الإرهابية. وأكد اللواء المغيدي أن المبادرة تجسّد توجّه التحالف نحو تطوير قدرات مستدامة وشاملة، فيما أشاد الجانب الغامبي بالشراكة ودورها في رفع جاهزية قواته.
يمتد البرنامج من 21 يناير إلى 9 فبراير 2026، ويتضمّن تدريبًا نظريًا وعمليًا على التعامل مع المتفجرات والذخائر غير المنفجرة، بما يعزّز الأمن الوطني والإقليمي.
The Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism in Banjul has launched the second phase of the “Efficiency” initiative, dedicated to training anti-terrorism forces in demining and handling explosive devices. The inauguration was attended by the Gambian Chief of Defense Staff and the Secretary-General of the alliance, Major General Pilot Mohammed Al-Magidi, along with several military leaders.
The initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of member states in intellectual, media, financial, and military fields, and to build professional competencies capable of facing terrorist threats. Major General Al-Magidi emphasized that the initiative embodies the alliance’s approach towards developing sustainable and comprehensive capabilities, while the Gambian side praised the partnership and its role in enhancing the readiness of its forces.
The program runs from January 21 to February 9, 2026, and includes theoretical and practical training on handling explosives and unexploded ordnance, thereby enhancing national and regional security.
