دحض أسطورة كرة القدم المصرية حسن شحاتة شائعة وفاته، بظهوره في منزله رفقة وزير الشباب والرياضة الدكتور أشرف صبحي، أمس (الأربعاء)، ليضع حداً لحالة الجدل التي أُثيرت خلال الساعات الماضية.
وكانت شائعة وفاة «المعلم» قد انتشرت على نطاق واسع، قبل أن ينفيها نجله كريم شحاتة، مؤكداً أن والده يتمتع بحالة صحية جيدة، ويخضع حالياً لفترة تعافٍ عقب العملية الجراحية التي أجراها أخيراً.
وزير الرياضة يطمئن على «المعلّم»
وخلال الزيارة، أعرب وزير الشباب والرياضة عن خالص تمنياته للكابتن حسن شحاتة بالشفاء العاجل ودوام الصحة، مشيداً بما قدمه من إنجازات تاريخية للكرة المصرية، ودوره الكبير في رفع اسم مصر عالياً على المستويين القاري والدولي.
وأكد صبحي أن رموز الرياضة الوطنية يحظون بكل التقدير والاهتمام، تقديراً لما قدموه من عطاء وإسهامات خالدة في تاريخ الرياضة المصرية.
شحاتة يثمّن اللفتة الإنسانية
من جانبه، أعرب الكابتن حسن شحاتة عن تقديره لهذه اللفتة الإنسانية، مثمّناً حرص وزير الشباب والرياضة على المتابعة والدعم، ومؤكداً اعتزازه بما تشهده الرياضة المصرية من اهتمام ورعاية من القيادة السياسية والدولة المصرية.

ويُعد حسن شحاتة أحد أبرز رموز نادي الزمالك عبر تاريخه، وأسطورة من أساطير كرة القدم المصرية لاعباً ومدرباً، إذ سيظل إنجازه التاريخي بقيادة المنتخب المصري للتتويج بلقب كأس الأمم الأفريقية ثلاث مرات متتالية أعوام 2006 و2008 و2010 حاضراً في أذهان جماهير كرة القدم.

The rumor of the “teacher’s” death had spread widely before being denied by his son, Karim Shehata, who confirmed that his father is in good health and is currently undergoing a recovery period following the recent surgery he underwent.

During the visit, the Minister of Youth and Sports expressed his sincere wishes for Captain Hassan Shehata’s speedy recovery and continued health, praising his historical achievements for Egyptian football and his significant role in raising Egypt’s name high on both the continental and international levels.
Sobhi affirmed that the symbols of national sports receive all appreciation and attention, in recognition of their contributions and enduring legacies in the history of Egyptian sports.
