كانت الحياة في شبه الجزيرة العربية قبل قيام الدولة السعودية؛ فقراً وجوعاً وخوفاً، فأصبحنا الآن بفضل من الله سبحانه وتعالى ثم بجهود دولتنا الرشيدة في نعمة وأمن وأمان ورخاء.
ولأن «الأسرة» لها الدور الكبير في تعزيز قيم المواطنة والانتماء؛ فعليها تذكير أفرادها بها على الدوام؛ مثل:
– التذكير الدائم بقيم المواطنة الحقة الواجبة على كل مواطن، كبيراً أو صغيراً، ذكراً أو أثنى.
– تنمية مبدأ المواطنة والوطنية بالممارسات العملية في حب الوطن والانتماء إليه.
– التعود على تقديم المصلحة العامة على الخاصة.
– المحافظة على المكتسبات الوطنية.
– التنشئة على التعايش السلمي مع أفراد المجتمع.
– ترسيخ ثقافة الحوار والتسامح مع الآخر.

إن تعزيز قيم المواطنة والانتماء لدى الأبناء منذ الصِغر يقطع الطريق على كل متربص وعدو للوطن، فالأعداء لا يستطيعون التغلغل في أي وطن إلا بعد أن يفسدوا مُواطَنَة شعبه، إما بالتحريض على قادتهم ورموزهم، أو بإنقاص قدر بلادهم في أنفسهم وحضارته في أعينهم، أو التقليل من إنجازاتهم.

– The continuous reminder of the true values of citizenship that every citizen, young or old, male or female, is obliged to uphold.
– Developing the principle of citizenship and patriotism through practical practices in loving and belonging to the homeland.
– Getting used to prioritizing the public interest over personal interests.
– Preserving national gains.
– Raising children to coexist peacefully with members of the community.
– Instilling a culture of dialogue and tolerance with others.
In summary..
Enhancing the values of citizenship and belonging in children from a young age cuts off the path for any adversary or enemy of the homeland. Enemies cannot infiltrate any nation unless they corrupt the citizenship of its people, either by inciting against their leaders and symbols or by diminishing the value of their country in their own eyes and its civilization in their perception, or by belittling their achievements.
